Educational Programs


Education Committee Mission:
Provide quality educational opportunities to meet the needs of business members and share information between the Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce and educational institutions, which will support both the business and education interests of the community.


2010 Goals & Objectives

  • Identify and implement the training/education needs of Chamber members

  • Offer 14 Workshops in the form of 2 Business Educational Series

  • Maintain information about the Elk Grove Unified School District, the Los Rios Community College District, and other educational agencies for the Elk Grove Chamber to use to recruit new businesses to the area and to refer members for education and training training.

Leadership Elk Grove
The community’s volunteer and elected leadership directly influences the economic health of the Elk Grove community.  The development of sound public policy and leadership are core components of a sound community.  Leadership Elk Grove encourages participation in the development of policy by preparing individuals for  leadership roles.   Leadership Elk Grove provides participants with education on the community, business in Elk Grove, key issues impacting business and the community, leadership skills and ways to influence policy decisions. 

The yearly program includes monthly sessions, a group project and participation in public agency meetings.
